Role
The resource will be part of the HR Consulting team and will be responsible to ensure proper implementation of all applicable HR processes necessary for a consistent HR management for the assigned perimeter. Specifically, this resource will be dedicated to EFG locations outside of Switzerland.
The HR Consulting team serves as the first point of contact for employees on HR matters, providing advisory and guidance to line managers and employees on HR regulations, processes, and Oracle Fusion functionalities. The team also oversees critical processes, such as onboarding, drive HR processes optimization and offers a wide range of HR services (e.g. answer questions on contractual topics, maternity/paternity leaves, allowances, signature rights, work certificates, etc.). The resource will constantly interact with HR Business Partners, line managers and employees as well as all HR functional areas.
This multifaceted role is crucial in ensuring an efficient HR support alongside the entire employee’s lifecycle, from on boarding to off boarding, as well as actively contributing to the positioning of the team as a global CoE for HR processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone willing to work in an international, fast-paced and client-oriented HR team within a global private banking group.
Main responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management and People Support
- For the assigned population perimeter, ensure thorough implementation of applicable HR processes during the whole employee lifecycle, with completion of all information flows (entry, exit, transfer, salary review, bonus, maternity leaves, background checks, etc).
- Coordinate and lead onboarding for new joiners, including induction day and materials.
- Provide guidance, advice and problem-solving to employees on HR matters throughout the employee experience at EFG.
- Manage escalated or non-routine employee matters and resolve process deviations using sound judgment, identifying and troubleshooting issues proactively.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners and local HR Heads, taking into consideration local regulatory and labour law specificities.
Data Management
- Responsible for the integrity of employee master data in HRIS (Oracle Fusion) and maintaining personnel files.
- Ensure rigorous people data quality across EFG locations.
Operational Excellence & Digitalisation
- Drive assigned initiatives for the review, digitalisation and streamlining of HR processes at global level and coordinating with the broader HR team.
- Perform regulatory HR-related due diligence activities and support continuous process refinement.
- Conducting regular audits on team outputs to ensure quality and compliance; identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within structured HR departments
- Diploma or university degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development or related field
- International mindset and multicultural experience
- Client and people-oriented, able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with proactive and positive attitude, relentless energy and intellectual curiosity
- Detail-oriented, with high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills: able to work independently, effectively handling multiple tasks and delivering in a dynamic and demanding environment
- High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential data and information
- Comfortable with IT tools and solid skills in MS Office programs, in particular Excel (mandatory)
- Excellent English skills (mandatory), any other language is advantageous
