About your team :
The Swiss Sales team is responsible for business development and relationship management for institutional & wholesale asset owners in the region, including third party distributors such as banks, securities companies, and domestic asset management companies as well as government entities, insurers, pensions, corporates, and family offices. Fidelity has a well-established business in the region with a wide-reaching network of client relationships, and is a key channel for the firm’s strategic growth priorities, including the distribution of investment capabilities managed by Fidelity International. This includes both public and private markets strategies and ETFs.
About your role :
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Sales Manager to join our Distribution team, responsible for developing and managing relationships with both institutional and wholesale clients. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work across client segments and contribute to the growth of our asset management business in a fast-evolving market environment.
This role will be responsible for business development and client relationship management. This is a critical position within the Swiss department, expanding our client base particularly in the institutional business in French-speaking part of Switzerland, promoting of our funds with both new and existing clients. Sales promotion to clients includes a broad variety of activities ranging from identifying opportunities to delivery of in-depth fund and investment presentations to various divisions of our clients. The role also includes meeting day-to-day servicing and fund promotion activities of these clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales activities and build deep relationships with branches of mutual fund distributors, family offices and institutional clients alike.
- Promote and cover new products to our client’s Sales organization and branches.
- Build and keep personal and trusting relationships with our focus clients such as pensions, banks and family offices.
- Plan and execute mass marketing plan to non-focus clients to increase client-basis.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products and financial market.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of marketplace and competitive landscape.
- Closely work with Marketing, Product Specialists, Client Services, and other internal stakeholders including overseas offices to meet client’s need and help generate business.
- Co-work with other team members for both relationship management and fund promotion.
About you :
- 5-10 years of Sales experience in Asset Management industry or related industry with strong relationships with institutional and wholesales clients.
- Technical skills and knowledge.
- Expertise in investment strategies and financial instruments including equities, fixed income, and FX.
- Extensive knowledge of investment management business in Switzerland.
- Self-starter who is result-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to take a logical approach to problem solving, determine appropriate priorities, and therefore leading to the best solution.
- Enthusiastic and flexible attitude with experience working on a wide range of fields - role
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a flexible and proactive approach to resolving conflicts and overcoming problems
- Good working verbal and written communication skills in English preferred
Qualifications
- CFA, CMA, or CAIA preferred, French speaking a must
