German Teacher - Middle School Maternity Cover: Full time from January 5 to June 19, 2026 (this position may start earlier if needed)

Applicants should have at least 2-3 years of experience teaching German as a foreign language and/or German as a fluent language at the middle school level (grades 6 - 8), preferably in an international school setting. Teaching certification is required and applicants must show evidence of:
- German proficiency (minimum C2)
- Teaching license including specialism
- Documented record of excellence in teaching
- BA / BSC or equivalent university degree
- Understanding of Middle School philosophy and best practice
- Integration of technology into curriculum
- Inquiry based pedagogical approach
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Experience using digital technology to support student learning Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and active participation in school life
Very desirable to have:
- EDK teaching status recognition for Zurich Experience working in an International School context
This position could potentially continue into the 2026/27 school year as a 40% position.
