Financial Controller - F1 Financial Regulations (Geneva - Switzerland)

As Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to step behind the scenes of the championship, working closely with Power Unit Manufacturers and gaining privileged insight into how the sport operates at the highest level.
Based in Geneva within a dynamic and international team, you will travel across the world to meet with senior finance leaders, conduct on-site audits, and contribute directly to safeguarding the integrity and fairness of Formula 1.
You will report directly to the Head of Financial Regulations Power Unit Teams.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance Monitoring Activity
Analyse and audit the financial submission of the F1 Power Unit Manufacturers to ensure compliance with the FIA Financial Regulations - Power Unit Manufacturers
Carry-out in-depth reviews of financial data (benchmarking, trend analysis, ratio analysis, etc.) to identify risks and inconsistencies
Conduct on-site audits and support the relationship with F1 Power Unit Manufacturers' finance departments
Cooperate with FIA financial advisors on ad-hoc analyses
Work on investigations in cases of suspected breaches of the FIA F1 Financial Regulations - Power Unit Manufacturers
Development of F1 Financial Regulations Documentation Framework
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the FIA’s financial documentation and submission processes
Work with the FIA IT team and external consultants to enhance reporting tools and submission platforms
Contribute to the preparation and regular update of guidance documents, training materials, and submission instructions for F1 Power Unit Manufacturers
PROFILE:
Professional Accounting Qualification ( Master degree in accouting or similar )
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial audit in Big Four companies or equivalent
Professional motorsport experience (as an external auditor, consultant, or employee) is a preferable
Solid understanding of International Accounting Standards, accounting principles (consolidation technique highly desirable), and management accounting/controlling.
Proven ability to perform audit procedures independently
Fluent English (minimum C1) is required. French is a strong advantage. Italian, German or Japanese is an advantage

Willingness to travel occasionally to UK, Italy, France, USA, Japan.
