Financial Controller Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller Associate to support our Senior Finance Manager in managing daily finance operations, customer invoicing, and internal control processes. This cross-functional role offers exposure to financial reporting, order-to-cash processes, audit preparation, payroll, and HR coordination.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in audit, FP&A, or financial controlling, with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, preferably from a Big 4 firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is structured, proactive, and motivated by the opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Support
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Prepare and maintain financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Manage general ledger entries, bookkeeping, AP/AR, and expense tracking
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure accurate documentation and support internal/external audits
Sales & Revenue Support
- Process customer sales orders and issue timely, accurate invoices
- Reconcile revenue and COGS data with Sales and Operations
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost tracking
- Collaborate with commercial teams on pipeline tracking and revenue forecasting
HR & Administrative Support
- Assist with payroll processing, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Maintain personnel and finance records
- Support internal communication across departments
- Coordinate vendors, office services, and internal events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or related fields (Audit, FP&A)
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or audit
- Experience in a Big 4 firm is strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning systems (e.g., NetSuite or other ERP)
- Experience with automation tools (Python, VBA, KNIME, or Alteryx) is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
