Position
The Client Development & Events team in Central Europe is responsible for the flawless execution of the client development and relationship management strategy of the Louis Vuitton brand across 4 countries (Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania). As an intern in the Client Development & Events team for Central Europe, you will report to the Events Manager in Central Europe and your role will be to support the team in the three key areas of client development: day-to-day client relationship management in-store, in-store events, and international events.
Job responsibilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Conception and Operations:
- Support the Event Manager on the entire event planning, validation and implantation process: from ideation, venue and service provider selection to agency briefings and pitches, invitation process management, guest management and recap.
- Coordination of in-store and external events according to brand guidelines. Help supervise the implementation of local events, championing the high standards of the Maison.
- Prepare powerpoint presentations to explain and document events and event protocols.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams in the region and headquarters.
- On-site event management and support during evenings and weekends.
- Monitor results, prepare event reports and follow-up with stores to ensure a complete assessment.
- Collect feedback and prepare debriefing materials to ensure continuous improvement. Management of all processes related to supplier relationships (e.g. supplier research, vendor creation, accounting processes such as accurate purchase order creation, validation of invoices and precise documentation of expenses).
Private Client Relations Development:
- Review of nominated client profiles, challenging the stores to ensure complete and relevant information is provided. Develop and maintain the client profile database.
- Definition and reservation of complete client travel programs including transport, accommodation, meals and entertainment.
- Be available and flexible to manage last minute changes to client programs.
- Accurate creation of related purchase orders (SAP) and validation of invoices as well diligent and precise documentation of expenses.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you have ideally already had a first working experience in the area of events management and/or CRM. In addition, the following criteria are desired:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to thrive in this role.
- A can-do, positive and proactive mindset.
- Able to cope with change and moving priorities.
- Resistant to stress and possibility to work in the evenings or on weekends.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge and ease with the Microsoft software suite: Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Word.
- Fluent in English and French is mandatory. Any other language from the region are an asset.
- Interest or experience in retail and luxury are a plus.
- You are available to start in January 2026 for a 12-month commitment.
