As Business Manager in the Office of the Switzerland AVP, you will partner with the Switzerland ATU leads to optimize sales team processes and capabilities across Enterprise Commercial, Financial Services, and Public Sector. Qualifications
- Business management experience in field/sales environments and working on rhythm-of-business activities including business operations, business management, finance, or other similar environments.
- Ability to work and create structure in complex and ambiguous situations and respond flexibly in time sensitive situations.
- Skilled in orchestrating executive sponsor engagement strategies, including briefing preparation, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up accountability to elevate customer impact.
- Track record of leading cross-functional programs and special projects that drive business transformation, customer satisfaction, and internal process optimization.
- Strong communication skills and proven capabilities to interact at management and leadership levels
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks, analyzing information, and maintaining high-quality standards
- The candidate should exhibit a “can do” attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND ’ experience in business management, financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Experiences/Skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in German language would be an asset, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with regional stakeholders and support communication across German-speaking markets.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM) and Sales methodologies. Familiarity with Sales Excellence motions (i.e., segmentation, quota setting, forecasting) would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Business Operations, Planning & Change Management
- Partners with the Swiss Office Team and ATU stakeholders to drive planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate rhythms and integration across the broader organization.
- Manages the EC, PS, and FSI team’s Rhythm of Business (ROB), including fiscal year planning, business reviews, customer/partner engagement, events (internal/external), and strategic initiatives in close collaboration with Sales Excellence, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborates with EMEA and WW teams to land programs and initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and execution excellence.
- Identifies and advocates for performance improvement actions, working closely with SE&O on resource planning, blueprint optimization, and headcount management.
- Supports the landing of the organization’s transformational goals across HR, Customer Experience, Finance, and Business Planning pillars.
- Promotes ATU identity and culture through the orchestration of town halls, leadership workshops, and team offsites, fostering alignment, engagement, and a shared sense of purpose across the Switzerland ATU.
- Drives continuous improvement by capturing and acting on team feedback through platforms such as Signals, Employee Listening, and other feedback loops, ensuring that insights are translated into meaningful actions that enhance team effectiveness and engagement.
Executive Leader and Team Communications
- Executes ATU internal communications strategy and programs. Reviews, supports, and helps to refine work of team members with relevant content (e.g., customer/partner decks, event decks, results summaries, team SharePoint).
Customer & Executive Engagement Readiness
- Ensure customer-facing executives are well-prepared for engagements by orchestrating briefing materials, aligning messaging, and tracking pre-meeting readiness (in tight collaboration with the account teams).
- Partners with account teams to ensure follow-up actions from customer meetings are captured, tracked, and executed with accountability.
- Support the development of customer engagement frameworks that drive consistency, impact, and measurable outcomes.
Maximizing/ Extending the Leaders
- Builds trust, encourages collaboration, and enables fact-based decision making for leader through sharing of timely, accurate, and relevant information. Identifies and gathers information to relay to Switzerland ATU leaders.
Special Projects, Programs & Initiatives
- Lead or contribute to cross-team strategic projects that address evolving business needs.
- Execute hands-on work across multiple disciplines, including strategic efforts that require coordination, analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Drive initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and customer satisfaction.
