Are you passionate about combining technology and logistics to shape the future of modern manufacturing? Join our team as a Working Student in the Smart Intralogistics Program and support us in designing and implementing digital solutions to optimize material flows and warehouse operations. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in both hardware and software aspects of intralogistics systems. You’ll be part of cross-functional projects where you'll contribute to the digitalization of our internal logistics processes—ranging from sensor integration and automation concepts to data analytics and interface design. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical industrial environment and help drive innovation from within.
This part-time position is based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, within the Supply & Value Chain Excellence business unit. The ideal start date would be September 2025 or as agreed for a minimum of 12 months.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the analysis and optimization of material flows, storage systems, and warehouse structures
- Contribute to the integration of software tools for data visualization, process mapping, and system automation
- Collect and evaluate data from various sources to generate actionable insights on logistics performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, IT, and value chain to align logistics solutions with business needs
- Conduct market and technology research on current trends in smart logistics and industrial automation
Your background:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or other scripting tools used for data analysis
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic team environment
- Strong interest in intralogistics, automation, and digital transformation
- Basic understanding of logistics systems and warehouse processes
- Good communication skills in English and/or German
