THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Leading the full Team Services project lifecycle (planning and operations) for assigned tournaments, in coordination with FIFA functional areas and local entities/organising committees.
- Managing all team-related operations, including accommodation, logistics, transport, security interfaces, and effective communication with participating teams.
- Organising and overseeing tournament-related events such as virtual team meetings, team workshops, and inspection visits.
- Developing and adapting Team Services policies, requirements, and guidelines in collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Recruiting key Team Services staff at local entities, and briefing both permanent and temporary staff for tournament operations.
- Managing knowledge capture initiatives, including post-event reports, team surveys, debriefs, and documentation.
- Supporting the Head of Department with assigned projects and departmental initiatives. Travelling as required for site visits, operational meetings, and during tournament time.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional football and/or event management, ideally with exposure to international tournaments.
- Strong expertise and passion for international women’s football, including knowledge of competitions and leagues across all six Confederations.
- Experience working with national teams or professional football clubs.
- Solid understanding of team service-related areas such as accommodation, travel, transport, security, logistics, and media, and the ability to manage the interfaces between them.
- Strong strategic thinking, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility, while also being a collaborative team player.
- Culturally sensitive and experienced in working with individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional presence in interactions with dignitaries and team representatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams; familiarity with FIFA-specific tools and platforms is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in any other FIFA language (French, Spanish, German, Portuguese) is an asset.
- Willingness to travel extensively and be available for stand-by duties.
