THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

  • Leading the full Team Services project lifecycle (planning and operations) for assigned tournaments, in coordination with FIFA functional areas and local entities/organising committees.
  • Managing all team-related operations, including accommodation, logistics, transport, security interfaces, and effective communication with participating teams.
  • Organising and overseeing tournament-related events such as virtual team meetings, team workshops, and inspection visits.
  • Developing and adapting Team Services policies, requirements, and guidelines in collaboration with local stakeholders.
  • Recruiting key Team Services staff at local entities, and briefing both permanent and temporary staff for tournament operations.
  • Managing knowledge capture initiatives, including post-event reports, team surveys, debriefs, and documentation.
  • Supporting the Head of Department with assigned projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Travelling as required for site visits, operational meetings, and during tournament time.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in professional football and/or event management, ideally with exposure to international tournaments.
  • Strong expertise and passion for international women’s football, including knowledge of competitions and leagues across all six Confederations.
  • Experience working with national teams or professional football clubs.
  • Solid understanding of team service-related areas such as accommodation, travel, transport, security, logistics, and media, and the ability to manage the interfaces between them.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility, while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Culturally sensitive and experienced in working with individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional presence in interactions with dignitaries and team representatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams; familiarity with FIFA-specific tools and platforms is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in any other FIFA language (French, Spanish, German, Portuguese) is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and be available for stand-by duties.
