Key Responsibilities
- Planning and supervising the daily operations of the reception department, including guest arrivals and departures, room sales, and room allocations for VIPs, groups, and crews.
- Coordinating and reviewing the work of receptionists.
- Conducting training for new employees and on-the-job training.
- Handling guest requests and complaints.
- Supervising cashiers.
- Providing information about customer loyalty programmes.
- Handing over at the end of the shift.
- Completing administrative tasks.
- Managing your own cash register with collection, currency exchange, etc.
- Preparing invoices.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Successfully completed specialist training
- Communication skills and good judgement, as well as leadership skills
- OPERA knowledge
- Professional competence, creativity and attention to detail, as well as a very high level of quality awareness
- Structured and organised way of working
- Keen interest in team-oriented work
- Very good knowledge of German and English and, ideally, Italian and/or Russian.
