Job Description
Business Engagement
Act as the primary liaison between senior business leaders and IT, ensuring alignment between business strategies and IT initiatives.
Provide high-value strategic consulting and advisory support to drive key IT/business initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, operational models, market trends, and key partner relationships across business units.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of the business architecture changes needed to achieve desired business outcomes.
Assess future business capabilities, evaluate potential technology solutions, and facilitate decision-making on IT investments.
Lead strategic conversations and planning with business stakeholders to align current and future state enterprise architecture with business strategies.
Serve as the key point of contact for business engagement, stakeholder management, and enterprise architecture alignment, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Communicate decisions, priorities, and project updates to appropriate staff members regarding branch requests, projects, and initiatives.
Work with stakeholders to ensure that the impact of proposed IT investments is clearly understood by decision-makers, aiding in informed prioritization and sequencing with the IT Governance Team.
Champion the IT strategy across business units and IT, ensuring effective communication of all Enterprise Architecture (EA) artefacts to stakeholders.
Strategy, Design, and Solutions
Provide strategic thought leadership on the role of IT in executing business strategies.
Develop and maintain the IT strategic roadmap for business units, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
Translate business strategy into business architecture deliverables, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks.
Collaborate with integration and supplier architects to design solutions that support business processes and technology roadmaps.
Oversee the successful launch of solutions, ensuring maximum impact on departmental goals.
Contribute to the ongoing refinement of EA implementation and activities.
Own and manage the business unit’s IT project portfolio and budget.
Practice Development
Recommend and assist in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies.
Share best practices, lessons learned, and continuously update architecture requirements based on evolving technologies and business needs.
Manage end-to-end business processes in production, ensuring seamless integration with other modules.
Educate the organization on emerging technologies and trends.
Empower business users through the introduction of new technologies and services to enhance their success.
Stakeholder and Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to support the achievement of departmental outcomes.
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary IT contact for key stakeholders.
Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between IT and business units.
Act as the primary business liaison for IT, advocating for IT services and capabilities.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in strategic and business planning, with a strong ability to translate high-level strategies into actionable business change initiatives.
Deep expertise in production processes.
5-10 years of experience in SAP PP, leading end-to-end IT solutions.
Expertise in SAP QM is a plus.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, including familiarity with emerging trends and market solutions.
Strong knowledge of MES system integration.
Understanding of business re-engineering principles and processes.
Broad knowledge of various technologies and their applications in supporting business requirements.
Strong grasp of strategic and business planning processes, and how they translate into technology-driven changes.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality strategic technology planning artefacts that integrate business demand with IT roadmaps.
Experience in business architecture, particularly within the manufacturing sector (preferred).
Demonstrated experience within SAP environments, building end-to-end solutions in PP; additional experience is a plus.
SAP certification is a plus.
International experience in managing IT solutions across diverse legal and business environments.
Professional proficiency in English.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will determine the position location, though there is a preference for the role to be based in the EMEA region. This role will be expected onsite full-time.
