Job Overview
This role as Statistics Intern will provide essential support to the Insights & Intelligence team by analysing various large datasets, and handling various tasks needed to monitor and analyse market trends
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database for multiple brands in regard to device specific events
- Set up API integration of FAERS database to SHL data lakes and set up automatic analysis to be performed twice a year
- Explore if similar databases are available in other regions (e.g. Europe, Japan)
- Prepare clear, visually compelling reports and presentations to communicate key findings to stakeholders across different departments.
- Support the continuous improvement of data pipelines, dashboards, and analysis methodologies within the Insights & Intelligence function
Minimum Requitements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Mathematics or Economics with a focus in Statistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of digital collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and design and run statistical analysis independently.
- Willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.

- Actively enrolled in Master’s program or completed degree in Statistics either within a degree in Mathematics or Economics/Econometrics or
