Role
We are seeking an intern to join our team in Lugano as an Operational Support Specialist for our Sponsorship Manager and Marketing & Branding Team. This role involves diverse responsibilities including coordinating schedules, preparing presentations, and assisting with sponsorship projects and events. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and quality control of marketing materials.
Main Responsibilites:
- Ensure operational support to the Sponsorship Manager and the Marketing & Branding Team based in Lugano
- Support the planning, execution and analysis of sponsorship related projects and initiatives
- Coordinate schedules and meetings, ensure timely delivery of materials and project timelines
- Prepare presentations, reports, documentation and other docs for internal and external use (e.g. sponsorship & events calendar)
- Track project deliverables and deadlines, ensuring follow-up with involved stakeholders for sponsorship and advertising/branding projects
- Assist in organizing sponsor-related events and activations
- Assist in monitoring and reporting sponsorship activities and performance.
- Supporting the proofreading and quality control of marketing materials and brochures, and coordinating language version creation with internal and external stakeholders
- General assistance for the team as updating presentations, organising imagery, delivery of brochures, filing, content update on the intranet etc.
Skills and experience:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong passion for marketing and interest in sponsorship, branding, communications, and event-related activities
- Proactive, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and precision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
- Background in marketing and communication is preferred
