In this pivotal role, reporting to the Head of HR Transformation, you will lead and develop a team of five HR Operations specialists in a dynamic and international setting. Your mission: ensure efficient delivery of HR services, maintain compliance with Swiss and international regulations, and drive continuous improvement across HR processes.
This is a hands-on leadership position combining operational excellence and strategic oversight. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to delivering core HR services, while the remaining 20% will focus on team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and driving innovation projects.
Please note that this is a full-time position, and we are only able to consider candidates who can commit to 100% availability.
What Would Your Role Be?
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of five HR Operations specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including employee data management, onboarding/offboarding, work contracts and other key documents, background screening orchestration, work confirmations, reference letters, time corrections etc.
- Frequent exchange with Talent Acquisition, Payroll and People and Organizational Development Team as well as the HR Business Partner Community and other stakeholders.
- Key contact for HR teams outside Switzerland.
- Ensure all HR processes and documentation comply with Swiss labor law and internal policies.
- Drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality together with the HRIT team.
- Monitor data accuracy for HR reports and key HR metrics, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.
- Support the implementation of global and local HR projects and initiatives.
- Manage audits and support internal / external compliance reviews.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a Swiss HR qualification such as certified HR Specialist with federal diploma of higher education
- 7+ years’ experience in HR operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss labor law and HR best practices; experience in the finance industry as well with foreign HR processes and legislation is a plus.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English and German. French or Italian are additional advantages.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday), Ticketing Systems (JIRA), Reference Letter Tools and MS Office products and AI applications are advantages.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment and keeping the overview in busy times.
