MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
You will provide after-school lessons to students enrolled in the Gymnastics programme. You will lead and teach beginner and intermediate gymnastics classes in a recreational environment, introducing apparatus gymnastics (balance, suspension, rotations) and preparing interested students for competition.
For the year 25.26, classes will take place on Thrusday afternoon from 2 to 5 pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver engaging and enjoyable gymnastics sessions.
- Ensure that students have a positive experience while developing their skills.
- Maintain safety, security and discipline as a top priority.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
SKILLS AND OMPETENCES
Required
- Gymnastics club teaching certifications or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in an official gymnastics club.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Languages: English and French.
Preferred
- Physical Education or Advanced Gymnastics Teaching Diploma.
- Experience teaching within a school environment.
- Experience in organising gymnastic galas/events.
