Job Description Summary
We’re a team of dedicated and smart people united by a drive to deliver high quality and timely financial reporting in the most efficient manner.You will lead a team responsible for the “NPMR” platform, process and data that are key to the delivery of the consolidated financial statements (elimination of intercompany margin in inventories and costs of good sold). To succeed in this role, your solid experience in financial consolidation, attention to details and analytical skills will be essential. This key role in the global Financial Reporting & Accounting team also requires excellent communication skills that you will demonstrate in front of many different internal stakeholders: global, regional and local FRA & BPA managements, Organizational Unit CFOs, Technical Operations (Production and Supply Chain), Strategy & Growth, Research & Development.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the financial reporting and product margin reporting processes and systems
Manage the systems internal controls, ensuring compliance in line with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal requirements
Manage the liaison with the external auditors relating to the system and processes under the control of the position
Provide timely reporting information to key customers (global, regional and local FRA and BPA management, Organizational Unit CFOs, Technical Operations (Production and Supply Chain), Strategy & Growth, Research and Development)
Working closely with local FRA teams, helping to maintain qualitative and timely reporting data
Support the FRA Organization in ad hoc projects such as acquisitions, divestments, productivity analysis…
Ensure full understanding and contribute to the reporting of the gross margins and inventory together with the movements in the intercompany profit margin (“Pre-Profit”) elimination
Ensure adequate training to key stakeholders on systems as well as business knowledge building
Ensure adequate development and career planning of team members
Secure NPMR technical set up (e.g.: IT disaster recovery…) coordinating with the appropriate IT Finance supports and global FRA / global IT
Ensure that NPMR platform and tools are aligned with the overall FRA reporting landscape and remain compatible with the downstream and upstream systems
Essential Criteria:
University degree (ideally advanced) in finance & accounting/ business administration
Extensive experience in financial reporting systems & multi-currency financial consolidation in matrix organization
Experience or solid understanding of product costing in manufacturing
Excellent understanding & ability with ERP/BI as well as relevant financial sub-systems
Advanced written and oral communication, leadership, project management and analytical skills
Proficiency in English required – spoken & written
