Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a prominent alternative investment specialist and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pictet Group, with expertise spanning hedge funds, private equity, and global real estate. With teams located worldwide, PAA constructs, manages, and advises on portfolios of alternative investment solutions tailored for institutional and private clients. The Group is keen to drive further development for PAA in the coming years, particularly by broadening its product offerings to include additional asset classes and enhancing its institutional client base.
You will join our dynamic and rapidly growing Private Equity team, which operates across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Our collaborative and entrepreneurial culture encourages you to explore your interests, develop sector expertise, and contribute to investments that shape the future. You will be part of a dedicated, diverse, and highly motivated team responsible for deploying between USD 1.5 and 2 billion per year, including approximately USD 600 million in co-investments.
Your role
- Identifying and evaluating attractive minority direct investments, co-investments, and investments in funds.
- Researching industries and companies and creating detailed financial models to highlight relevant metrics for the investment decision-making process.
- Producing quality analysis of companies and due diligence information to support investment conclusions.
- Identifying industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Creating presentations and memoranda regarding new investment opportunities.
- Monitoring the ongoing performance of fund and portfolio company investments.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
Your profile
- University degree in a relevant field such as finance, engineering, economics, or data science from a top-tier university.
- Two to threefour years’ experience in direct investment funds or as a co-investing LP.
- Proven solid modelling and analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English required; French and/or other European languages would be highly valued.
