We are seeking a proactive and organized Associate Broker to support our team in achieving its goals. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and providing administrative support to team members.
Carpenter Marsh Fac is Marsh and Guy Carpenter’s dedicated facultative reinsurance unit that provides placement strategies, timely market access and centralized management of facultative reinsurance solutions. We will count on you to:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems for easy access to information.
Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications, responding to inquiries and directing them appropriately.
Oversee office operations to ensure a productive environment and support team members with various tasks and projects.
Assist brokers with submissions, cover notes, endorsements, and other contractual documents, as well as organise team events, meetings, and training sessions.
Support onboarding of new team members and brokers, and assist with forecast, budget analysis, and regulatory reporting.
What you need to have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and high affinity working with IT platforms.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with effective time management and task prioritisation skills.
What makes you stand out:
Previous experience in an administrative or support role within a professional environment.
Knowledge of insurance or brokerage processes is a plus.
Additional language skills (e.g. French)
