The Opportunity:
Reporting to the future SVP Head of Europe, the VP Head of Market Development & Commercial in dual role General Manager European Midsize Markets will play a critical role supporting the European team on the successful go-to-market prelaunch and launch strategy and execution of Daroxonrasib in Pancreatic and Lung cancers to ensure maximal patient access and commercial success.
Responsibilities:

Core member of the European leadership team who will build the European presence and activities for Revolution Medicines.

Strategic Marketing and Commercialization Development:

Lead the identification and evaluation of new market opportunities for Daroxonrasib and RevMed pipeline in Europe.

Define the portfolio vision and establish commercial strategies for the compounds in full collaboration with key Global, Regional and Local stakeholders and where appropriate other partners.

Own the European brand strategy and operational plans by building a competitive, truly crossfunctional launch plan, strategic imperatives/must wins and tactics that set a foundation of launch success of the first RevMed blockbuster.

Collaborate with commercial, medical affairs, and market access teams in the US to ensure European market needs are identified, understood and addressed effectively and efficiently within the clinical, the pre-launch and launch programs.

At regional level, interact with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, clinical, medical affairs, market access, customer engagement, patient advocacy, corporate affairs etc. to analyze and interpret clinical trial data, and leverage insights to make informed recommendations to the global teams as well as regional regulatory and market access colleagues about the direction of the product program, and develop and implement launch strategies.

Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and identify key trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Provide expertise in current and future healthcare market trends impacting RevMed portfolio, starting with Daroxonrasib in Pancreatic and Lung cancers.

Clinical and Other Collaboration:

Collaborate with US and international clinical and medical teams who will initiate and support clinical trials in Europe, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and timelines.

Work closely with clinical operations, medical affairs, market access, and regulatory teams to facilitate smooth startup and execution.

Provide strategic input to global teams in the US on the selection of endpoints, patient populations, and study designs to ensure clinical trials generate meaningful data for subsequent phases, support the groundwork for Phase III clinical trials by identifying potential clinical trial sites, establishing relationships with investigators, and supporting preparation of regulatory submissions.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Relationships and Stakeholder Engagement:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs in the field of pancreatic and lung cancer to enhance the company's scientific and commercial credibility in European markets.

Engage with KOLs to gather insights, validate launch plans, and support market development activities.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and organizations, regulatory bodies, patient advocacy groups, and industry partners.

Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners to align goals and expectations.

Represent the company at international conferences, industry events, and regulatory meetings as per our company mission.
Major accountabilities in dual role as General Manager European Midsize Markets

Build a Midsize Markets leadership team by recruiting best-in-class talent, and onboarding Country Managers as well as Finance/HR/Market Access and their crossfunctional teams including market access, regulatory, medical and commercial at the pre-launch phase.

Provide cross-functional leadership to the development of a best-in-class organization and culture across Midsize Market operations consistent with RevMed Vision and Values.

Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of product programs, including milestones, challenges and opportunities.

Develop go-to-market strategies, market models including deep understanding and strategies to maximize penetration, demand and commercialization plans tailored to key Midsize Markets.

Oversee the planning and execution of new product launches in Midsize Markets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:
-
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the biotech landscape, particularly in the field of solid tumors such as pancreatic and lung cancer and possess a strong track record of leadership in general management, marketing, market access, product planning and customer engagement.

Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant field such as biotechnology, life sciences, or business administration.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, market access, market development, product planning, or commercial strategy within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Strong skills in people management and creating high performing teams from the ground up.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in successfully launching and commercializing products in international markets.

Experience in supporting a startup atmosphere and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international setting.
