• Deliver the teaching and learning of Mathematics and lower secondary Science throughout the secondary school effectively.
• Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of the lower secondary, IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics and Science programmes.
• Liaise with curriculum leaders to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom.
• Identify SEN students and work collaboratively to ensure their needs are met.
• Ability to lead on projects and work independently.
• Promote the health and safety of assigned classes.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to regular staff training/meetings.
• Contribute to a programme of trips, excursions, field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Enhance the professional standing of the teaching body.
• Contribute to the development of a positive attitude between Mathematics and the wider community through cooperative relations, publications, competitions, etc.

• Subject-related degree and PGCE or equivalent.
• Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Experience of teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics preferred; MYP and/or A Level experience required at minimum.
• Ability to teach lower secondary Science and/or IGCSE/IBDP Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
• Ability to share your passion for teaching.
• Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
• Ability to inspire mixed culture and ability classes by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students.
• Ability to support student needs in learning and pastoral matters.
• Clear criminal record.
