Procurement Project Manager (all genders)

Your responsibilities
- Drive material cost evaluation during the RFQ phase to ensure competitive pricing for new project components
- Select and nominate suppliers for new components, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards
- Lead and coordinate cost improvement initiatives for project-specific components in close collaboration with internal and external partners
- Ensure timely supplier involvement and co-engineering during the development phase to meet cost and technical targets
- Manage supplier activities throughout the project phase, including APQP and tool development coordination
- Secure initial part approvals in line with project milestones and quality requirements
- Collaborate closely with Category Management, R&D, and Project Management to align component sourcing with overall project objectives
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Proven track record of over 3 years in the procurement and supply chain sector, with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adept at fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to support organizational goals and long-term partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cost-saving initiatives, achieving measurable improvements in efficiency and profitability
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing complex contract negotiations
- Project management skills to support procurement initiatives
- Knowledge of ERP systems and digital procurement tools
- Willingness to travel frequently (>60%)
- English (business fluent, C1), German is an advantage
- Hybrid work arrangement (40% Homeoffice)
