Within Squirro, our People Team plays a central role in creating a workplace where employees can thrive, grow, and do their best work. We’re now looking for a People Operations Manager to join us, someone who will take ownership of day-to-day people operations while also driving improvements across HR processes on a global scale.
What You'll Do
- Track and analyze HR data (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation) and prepare regular reports. Use insights to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support the design and implementation of career progression frameworks
- Oversee and manage onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR administration.
- Manage BambooHR and ensure accurate records, updates, and reporting.
- Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and employment documentation across multiple entities.
- Ensure HR policies are up to date and aligned with local labor laws.
- Support performance review processes.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from drafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to interviews
- Be a go-to person for questions about contracts, benefits, vacation, sick leave, and general HR matters.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in HR/People Operations
- Strong knowledge of HR administration and processes across multiple regions (Switzerland, UK, US, Singapore, etc.)
- Experience with HR systems (BambooHR experience highly valued)
- Proven experience working with EOR and PEO providers
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting)
- Hands-on experience with payroll and benefits processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset
- Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken)
