The purpose of the job is to ensure that all the inbound operations are performed to meet business requirements in terms of purchase order, shipping, custom clearance and delivery to the warehouse.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to reach the service level objectives and the budgeted unit cost
- Ensure purchase orders are being allocated effectively and timely, and a full pipeline visibility is provided to all business owners
- Manage the Third Parties to ensure the transportation of goods until the delivery, managing suppliers to respect the security and the service level agreements to reach both business requirements and unit costs
- Support the Inbound Manager in overcoming day-to-day problems and in ensuring the respect of the contracts and the minimization of impacts
ACTIVITIES
- Run the daily operations to manage and control the inbound PO allocation, and solve problems together with the Inbound Team
- Daily management of suppliers to ensure that the daily plan and priorities are hit, and work together with the Inbound Manager and the Division to ensure all KPIs are met
- Daily verify that the inbound material flow respects planning, communicating and managing all the service disruption or failures to avoid negative business impact
- Support the implementation of all the process improvements to increase productivity bot in the Distribution Centre and in the team
- Daily control all invoices and documentation from third parties to ensure the correct billing
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of previous experience in Logistics department; knowledge of logistics inbound processes will be a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 minimum). Any other language will be considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of AS400 or JDA
- Well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines, and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
- Good team attitude
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good judgment, proven responsibility, and strong analytical skills
- Capability to work under strict, short deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers
