Kenvue is recruiting for a Director, Global Inventory Management. This position reports to the APAC Supply Chain and Global Planning Sr. Vice President

Global Inventory Director

The Global Inventory Director is a Global role responsible for the end-to-end Inventory processes including structural inventory improvement programs, inventory components, SLOB and digital improvement.

This leader works very closely with the regional Supply Chain Excellence Sr. Directors, the regional inventory leads, the global and regional functional leads (Make, Source, Deliver and Quality), regional supply planning teams and finance. It also leads the global structural inventory program with the participation of the supply chain officer and regional supply chain Sr. VPs.

The key objective is to deliver benchmark performance for Kenvue on inventory (DIO, DOS, NI, GI) and SLOB. The director also ensures that processes are standardized with specific ownership of the inventory results, inventory glidepath, structural inventory program for 3YOP and for current year,

This leader also ensure the implementation of standard process, organizational design and tools for the global Inventory Process as part of the Plan Transformation program. He leads the team of global process owners that defined the process and implement the technology and digital roadmap including the interface with S4/OMP and well with the core inventory digital solution: Inventory Projection tool in Anaplan, AIM, PSI, Smart SLOB.

The director will lead the development and implementation of inventory policies, standard technologies and procedures. This inventory policy includes guidelines regarding inventory definitions & classifications, inventory valuation & reserves, the calculation rules for gross inventory, net inventory DIO & DOS and the standardization of governance, roles and responsibilities with strong collaboration with global and regional finance.

The inventory leader will benchmark Consumer inventory, providing and outside in view and together with the regions and functions provide insights (including modeling), identify opportunities and drive improvement projects to ensure structural inventory are being planned and delivered. This individual will develop, implement and lead a cross functional inventory governance structure.

This individual will work closely with the regions and with global Make/Source/Deliver/Quality/Finance to create the global inventory plan/targets during yearly business planning and strategic 3YOP planning.

This leader will work on improving maturity in inventory management (Plan Transformation maturity and Heatmap) and is responsible for directing the integrated supply chain inventory, segmentation strategies and setting / governing inventory policies and parameters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Is responsible for global inventory KPIs (DIO-DOS-GI-NI), to ensure that with finance the regional targets are deployed and that results are delivered.
• Direct the monthly, quarterly and annual inventory planning activities and global inventory governance.
• Lead the global Structural Inventory Improvement Plan, ensuring the external and internal benchmark are available and best industry practices are implemented.
• Ensures optimization of our inventory investments, supports inventory trade off decisions with relevant analytics.
• Directs the development and implementation of inventory policies, standards, technologies, and procedures aligned the global Inventory Playbooks.
• Leads the Technology and Digital Tool development and adoption: Inventory Projection tool in Anaplan, AIM, PSI, Smart SLOB Leads the Inventory Projection Development in Anaplan
• Models optimization between inventory, service and cost and financial modeling across functions to implement segmentation and the financial benefits of service, inventory and cost.
• Leads the global Inventory Bootcamps and the capability of the regional supply chain excellence, the inventory leads and the multi-functional leads. Lead efforts to educate stakeholders and the wider organization on inventory management process and strategy and links it to other functions across the Kenvue organization
• Develops and deploys inventory processes in alignment with all stakeholders (Make, Plan, Source, Deliver, Quality, Finance)
• Projects SLOB and supports the creation and deployment of prevention plans to minimize SLOB expense
• Leads development of inventory plan during the strategic planning process, annual business planning and quarterly update processes.
• Creates and executes a plan to continuously improve the inventory management competencies in the Plan group and in critical positions in other functions.

Travel Requirements: 25% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Education & experience

Education: University Bachelor`s Degree or equivalent. MBA or equivalent preferred. Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS) desirable

Experience:

• 8+ Years related experience
• Demonstrated capability to influence senior leaders and different Supply Chain functions
• Demonstrated deep inventory mastery, experience with SC planning
• Experience with multiple regions
• Experience leading cross functional teams
• Experience with ERP, Advanced Planning Systems and Digital Solutions.

• Demonstrates ability to apply leading edge benchmark approaches to drive inventory optimization decisions in the business.
• Ability to visualize and develop the future state network, applying appropriate inventory strategies according to the business needs.
• Good understanding of Single-echelon and Multi-echelon inventory optimization processes and technologies.
• Knowledge of various inventory modeling techniques
