Job title – Global Customs & Foreign Trade Manager
Location – Kaiseraugst, Switzerland
We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team as the Global Customs & Foreign Trade Manager. This critical role is designed to ensure compliance with Swiss customs regulations, collaborating across our company, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with customs regulations. You will liaise with external agencies and support the Global Head of Customs & Foreign on all customs-related topics.
As the main contact point for Swiss compliance and trade topics, you will oversee and manage compliance issues, ensuring our operations adhere to international trade laws and regulations. You will also support regional teams and production units by providing them with the necessary standards and knowledge to operate effectively and in compliance with global trade requirements. In addition, you will optimize our import duties network, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding our company through the complexities of international trade, ensuring we remain competitive and compliant in a rapidly changing global market.

Your key responsibilities
- Manage HS code classification for the business unit
- Facilitate Swiss Audits
- Maintain and ensure compliance with SOPs and SLAs
- Analyze and monitor import duties and tariffs to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to reduce customs-related costs
- Act as a key enabler for regional teams by providing training, tools, and guidance on customs processes
- Drive continuous improvement in customs operations aligned with network optimization strategies

You bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in customs and trade management
- In-depth knowledge of global customs regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with customs and trade management software and tools
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset
