About the Role

Are you ready to lead global supplier partnerships and drive strategic value across indirect procurement categories? We are seeking a Strategic Vendor Relationship Manager – Global Lead Buyer to join our forward-thinking team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on building and managing strategic relationships with strategic and innovative suppliers, ensuring our clients receive the best commercial outcomes while suppliers benefit from access to our extensive client portfolio.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Supplier Management: Develop, maintain, and elevate partnerships with key global suppliers across IT, Professional Services, Real Estate, Marketing, and other indirect procurement categories.
  • Consortia Buying Leadership: Identify, champion, and execute consortia buying and volume bundling opportunities, maximizing value for both clients and suppliers.
  • Global Initiative Coordination: Lead and coordinate a portfolio of procurement initiatives from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and delivering measurable savings.
  • Analytical Excellence: Apply structured, data-driven approaches to assess market opportunities, supplier capabilities, and bundling potential.
  • Collaboration: Be embedded in a team of lead buyers while also working closely with a network of more than a hundred sourcers worldwide to share best practices and coordinate global strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote strategic procurement and innovative vendor collaboration models.

Ideal Candidate Profile


Educational Background: Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven track record in procurement, ideally within IT, Professional Services, Real Estate, or Marketing.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a professional services mindset, ideally with consulting experience or having served as a transformation/project lead.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Highly structured and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, global initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Expertise in identifying and leveraging consortia buying and volume bundling opportunities.
  • Strong capability to convince suppliers to engage in dynamic pricing models that deliver mutual benefits for both suppliers and clients.
  • Collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented and globally networked environment.
