As a Solutions Architect at Yokoy (a TravelPerk company), you will bridge the technical and commercial aspects of our customer engagements, ensuring our AI-powered travel & spend management solutions are integrated and running smoothly in existing complex enterprise resource (ERP) setups. You will be responsible for the technical design, review, feasibility assurance, and testing of such integrations, while also deriving new standard integrations for Travel & Expense and Procure-to-Pay spend scenarios from the most successful projects. You'll work with diverse system landscapes spanning corporate finance, HCM and payroll, procurement and project management systems, and treasury systems including card and bank payments. You will work hand in hand with our Solutions Consultants during the sales cycles, ensuring the technical and implementation feasibility on the projects.
\uD83E\uDDD1\uD83C\uDFFD\uD83D\uDCBB What you’ll do:
- Technical Leadership: you will lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers, shaping solution design and assessing feasibility for complex requirements. By architecting tailored integration solutions, you’ll help customers unlock real business value while supporting sales discussions with your technical expertise.
- Integration Architecture & Design: in this role, you’ll design and implement integrations across finance, HCM/payroll, procurement, and project management systems, as well as develop frameworks for treasury, card, and bank payment solutions. You’ll ensure quality through clear documentation, thorough testing, and proof-of-concepts.
- Project Transition & Customer Success: you’ll guide customers smoothly from pre-sales to project kick-off, making sure requirements are seamlessly handed over to the implementation teams. When challenges arise, you’ll be the trusted technical escalation point who drives solutions forward.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaboration will be at the heart of your work. You’ll partner closely with Solution Consultants, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams, while also sharing your expertise with Marketing and Sales to strengthen positioning and customer success.
- ️ What you’ll need:
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex integrations with ERP, HCM, payroll, and treasury systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Workday, Personio, banking APIs)
- Strong proficiency with APIs (SOAP, REST), SFTP, and integration protocols; hands-on with tools like Postman and VS Code
- Ability to read/write code (e.g., Python, JavaScript frameworks, Java) for integration purposes
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL) and business objects in finance, procurement, and/or HR
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related integration services
- Background in technical design, solution architecture, data modeling, and security
- Experience with testing methodologies for integration solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; able to explain complex topics clearly
- Collaborative mindset with a customer-focused, proactive, and adaptable approach
- You are fluent in English and German; other languages are a plus.
