We are looking for a Senior Director Quality Project Delivery, in Visp, to join our team.
Key responsabilities
A mission-critical role at the heart of Lonza’s largest CAPEX projects hub
Direct leadership of a team delivering GxP compliance from design through qualification
An agile career and dynamic working culture
Strong collaboration with site, global, and executive teams
Opportunities to shape and scale quality delivery models for high-performance outcomes
Lead and manage the Visp-based GQE team delivering CQV and quality oversight across major growth projects
Ensure high-quality, timely execution of Qualification, risk assessments, and commissioning activities
Collaborate closely with Site Quality, Group Engineering, and Project Management to ensure seamless delivery and handover
Act as the Quality SME in FAT/SAT, URS assessments, and CQV planning
Develop team capabilities and strengthen technical expertise within the organization
Monitor project execution metrics and lead issue resolution and escalations
Champion a safety, quality, and performance culture aligned with Lonza values
Qualification and Skills required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
Demonstrated leadership experience in CQV, Quality, or Engineering in a GMP setting
Strong expertise in qualification processes, regulatory expectations, and project execution
Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to lead large teams and mentor professionals across disciplines
Experience with high-complexity CAPEX projects in biopharma manufacturing is highly desirable
Fluent in English; German is a plus
