The Public Policy Group / Immigration Policy Lab at ETH Zurich invite applications for a research assistant position.

The position supports our research agenda to develop safe and effective measures to curb harmful online content and strengthen public discourse. As part of our efforts, we are using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and natural language processing to algorithmically detect hate speech across a variety of online venues (newspaper and social media). To do so, we need an up-to-date, high-quality corpus of training data.

The position is secured for 3 months starting September 2025. You will be integrated into a dedicated research team and remunerated in accordance with ETH guidelines.
