Overview of Role
As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist within the Finance Team of Rothschild & Co Wealth Management Switzerland, you will be responsible for the production and submission of the Bank's financial regulatory reports as well producing and presenting internal financial reports to senior management. You will be part of a small team contributing to the entire regulatory reporting to the Swiss National Bank and FINMA for all in scope entities.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly SNB and FINMA reports for the Swiss Bank (capital adequacy, liquidity and statistical reporting)
- Preparation and presentation of monthly regulatory reports to senior management and executive committee meetings
- Conceptual review of the regulatory reports in the context of Basel III
- Drive process improvements with a particular focus on efficiency (i.e. minimizing manual adjustments & workarounds), transparency and controls
- Participation in regulatory projects (new regulatory rules, system changes and new products)
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either economics, finance, accounting or mathematics
- Strong MS Office experience (especially Excel)
- Experience with Avaloq and FiRE is an advantage
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Professional experience in regulatory reporting
- Professional experience in accounting is a plus
- Understanding of the key products within the Wealth Management industry and their accounting impact
- Problem-solving mind-set combined with strong analytical skills and a flair for numbers
- Hands-on approach with a strong focus on execution and delivering financial reports
- Structured, organized and collaborative personality with a positive can-do attitude
- A strong control and procedures focused mindset
- Fluent in English, other languages (German, French) are considered a plus
