In this onsite role in Geneva, you will be responsible for developing robust long and short term resource plans across the global organization, in collaboration with the functional leads, executing against the resource plans.
You will be in charge of the following functions:
Develop tools to support the lab departments to gain efficiency of their daily work, like forecasting tools, resources, plans based on instruments, capacity and throughput
Provide oversight of selected lab-related process in coordination with lab SMEs and management.
Ensure strong collaboration with Global Lab subject matter experts and extended team members from other departments like Precision Medicine, Medical Affairs, Testing Enablement, Quality Insurance, Project Management, Client Delivery, Sales and Process Excellence for delivery against the resource plans for Central Laboratory Services (CLS).
In more details, you will…
Develop volume forecasting tools for the critical lab area as defined by the global laboratory management based on existing initial models
Build basic resources planning tools based on volume, forecasts and instruments throughput as defined by lab management
Deliver on-going Process Improvements that benefit the lab
Participate in the integration of an AI tool (LLM) for the day to day lab work to gain efficiency
Provide oversight and drive the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of projects assigned
Report project status to team, management, and stakeholders through regular status reports, management reports and communications meetings
Effectively work with a diverse group of team members from the CLS and IT departments
Participate in lab resource planning team tasks related to planning, budgeting and cross team issues
Effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings and procedures
Provide insights for SIOP process improvement through cross functional consultations and support changes implementations for SIOP deliverables and Resource planning
Ability to travel
Support Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for
Project Managers - Laboratory Resource Planning are the most successful at Labcorp with:
Minimum of a Bachelor degree or country equivalent in laboratory automation or process improvement
Experience with Project Management or Resource Planning in a laboratory activity environment, working in the medical industry or similarly regulated industry (preferred).
Demonstrated strong customer service skills with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
Previous experience of driving continuous improvement
Demonstrated high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively
Demonstrated experience in team building, influencing and conflict resolution
Proven track record of successful project facilitation
Ability to use several software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Access.
