As a Principal Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will Responsible for the delivery of TA activities for assigned organization(s) developing and leading recruiting and sourcing strategies and leading hiring teams through interviews and assessments.

You will be the main point of contact to business leaders and HR partners to align on talent needs, advising on market trends and competitive landscape. Additionally, you'll oversee relationships with our RPO team to ensure service level agreements are met, provide regular progress updates, and ensure compliance with legal and company standards in recruitment practices.

Your role also involves enhancing Biogen's employer brand and promoting diversity initiatives to attract top talent, while continuously improving recruitment processes and driving strategic talent acquisition initiatives

The Principal TABP will manage key stakeholder relationships with large and complex work groups and will lead critical TA projects end to end. The Principal TABP will work closely with regional HR and business leadership teams to understand the functional workforce plans and develop recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified, diverse talent to Biogen and to build Biogen’s employment brand among target talent populations.

This role will support both Switzerland affiliate-based positions as well as international roles located in Baar, including functions within the International Center of Excellence (ICOE). Onsite responsibilities include hosting candidates, participating in leadership and hiring manager meetings, and fostering strong local networks to drive the talent acquisition agenda in collaboration with local leadership teams.

This role requires a regular onsite presence of 2–3 days per week in accordance with local hybrid work guidelines.

Requisition Ownership
  • Responsible for the delivery of TA activities for assigned organization(s) and/or executive recruitment
  • Develop and lead recruitment strategy for assigned organization(s)
  • Req management end to end
  • Maintaining a strong local TA presence through regular stakeholder meetings
  • Strengthening relationships via face-to-face meetings and in-person interviews

Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the lead contact to Business and HR leadership for assigned organization(s), ensuring a strong local presence to build trust and alignment
  • Consistently interface with organizational leadership teams; Provide regular updates on organizational recruitment strategy including sourcing strategy, driving hiring manager accountability, Culture & Inclusion strategy, and workforce planning
  • Design and own tailored attraction strategies for assigned organization(s), leveraging local presence to better understand talent pools and enhance employer branding
  • Support adoption of new tools and process improvements. Identify, share, and implement best practices to elevate TA organization for the future.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to apply local market insights that create a competitive advantage for Biogen

Brand Ambassador & Project Work:
  • Leads by example and holds team to strict adherence to recruitment SLAs to deliver the very best candidate experience
  • Leads opportunities to advance the company and Global TA/HR function
  • Lead project work as approved by TA Lead or as selected by TA&R LT
  • Building community trust by actively participating in local events
  • Enhancing brand visibility by being present in Swiss community awareness initiatives

Requirements:
  • 10 years + of solid experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with progressive responsibility and demonstrated success in managing full-cycle recruiting processes & stakeholder management, including working closely with business leaders and HR partners to understand organizational needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting metrics and ability to use data analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
  • Experience in implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition process.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment cycles through both RPO partnerships and in-house recruitment initiatives
