The global Business Transformation team is looking for a Business Capability Owner to join the Supply Chain Enablement team at the On labs in Zurich. You will work in an environment where we make ideas happen fast, but thoughtfully as you take responsibility for owning and bringing processes and Technology to the next level by leveraging the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) in order to establish superior operational performance. With your proven ability of developing long term visions as well as project management, business analysis and technical skill set, along with your deep knowledge of supply chain management (preferably demand and supply planning), you will contribute to major transformation projects, offering great opportunities for growth in your position!
Your Mission
- Develop a clear vision and roadmap for the business capability of demand to supply value stream, aligned with organizational goals.
- Leverage the CMM (Capability Maturity Model) as a key framework to assess the current state of the business capability and define steps for progression.
- Partner with our Technology team to implement and align technology solutions with operational needs
- Transform the operations business capability landscape by leading process and system optimisation initiatives from requirements gathering throughout implementation and stabilization.
- Act as the single point of contact for a given business capability across the organization
- Analyze complex problems and manage their resolution within the On team as well as with external partners
Your story
- Degree or deep knowledge in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Technology, or related fields
- At least 3 to 5 years of meaningful experience in working as Business Capability Owner, Business Analyst or Product Owner with a focus on Demand to Supply processes. You have a deep understanding of organizational strategy, industry, and the role of the business capability owner.
- Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems, and their associated planning-tech landscape
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive operational excellence while bringing expertise to company projects. Cross-functional collaboration and clear communication come naturally
- You are comfortable working highly independent and taking your own initiatives comes naturally
- You can multitask, prioritize and react in an energetic and fast-paced environment
- You demonstrate resilience and flexibility and you are attentive to industry trends and best practices

As Supply Chain Enablement team, we define, manage, and optimize business capabilities within the global operations organisation including demand to supply as well as procure to pay value streams in order to align with On’s organizational strategy and deliver measurable value for the company. We are focused, data-driven but also action-oriented! We build and define functions that drive business success, but we also continuously challenge the status quo and “industry standards”. We work closely with various teams such as Supply Chain, Warehousing, Sourcing, Commercial, Finance, and Technology in order to support our business’ global growth whilst continuously ensuring operational excellence.
