Clinical Psychology of Childhood and Adolescence Division
The DyDIA (Dyadic Daily Interactions during Adolescence) study investigates how adolescents interact with their parents and friends in daily life, with a focus on their experiences during these exchanges. For this purpose, we use a Dyadic Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) design, in which adolescents, one of their parents, and a close friend complete short surveys throughout the day about their interactions. We are currently recruiting participants aged 12 to 18 years old, along with one parent and one friend, through schools, partner institutions, and social media.
Tasks
As a research intern, you will support the team in various aspects of the project, including:
- Recruitment of adolescent participants, parents, and friends via schools, online platforms, and partner institutions
- Participant support via phone calls and text messages/emails throughout the study period
- Contribution to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies
- Data collection and data management tasks
- Conducting literature reviews on topics related to adolescents' social development and well-being
This role requires familiarity with developmental and/or clinical psychology, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Psychology
- Reliable, precise, and able to work independently
- Quick to understand new tasks and proactive in your approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of working with young people
- Interest in promoting the study, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with the Swiss education system and/or existing contacts in schools is a plus

Time frame
The start of the internship: TBD, preferably September/October 2025.
The scope is a maximum of 300 hours and can be completed flexibly part-time (at least a 30% workload).
