WSP is seeking to enhance the expertise of our “Environment, Health and Safety Management and Compliance” team. We are currently looking for an HSE Advisor (all genders) based in one of our offices in Switzerland.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED ?
In this role you are continuously in contact with the company’s diverse stakeholders in order to provide analyses and guidance. You also work closely together with managers on all levels to implement necessary measures.
You work autonomously to fulfil the following main tasks:
- Defining and implementing global HSE policies in conjunction with the Group's other HSE managers
- Carrying out internal audits
- Assessing the risks associated with the company's activities and implementing measures to minimise them, regularly assessing risks and the effectiveness of preventive measures
- Monitoring compliance with the company's health, safety and environmental standards and regulations
- Continuously updating the files and registers required to prove the company's compliance, and maintaining the necessary certifications and accreditations
- Training and raising the awareness of company employees in health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Raising employee awareness of the risks associated with their activities and the preventive measures to be taken
- Management of incidents and non-conformities relating to health, safety and the environment
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective measures to prevent their recurrence.
This role also requires collaborating with the different company departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to hygiene, safety and environment, as well as a close partnership with the company’s external partners, regulatory authorities and certification organisms.
Travel to our agencies throughout Switzerland is to be expected.
WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?
With a higher education qualification in occupational safety and health protection, you are familiar with the HSE standards and regulations applicable in Switzerland. You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in an engineering or industrial environment, where you have implemented health and safety programs and have worked on construction sites.
You are fluent in both French and German and possess a good command of English. You are a communicative person with good organisational and analytical skills. You are adaptable and can work both as part of a team and independently. Your flexibility and open-mindedness enable you to maintain good relations with your internal and external contacts.
