The Hardware Engineering Intern is responsible for:
- Feasibility assessment of design alternatives, including modelling and analytical analysis
- Rapid prototyping of the alternative design according to drawings
- Testing and redaction of the associated technical feasibility reports
This position reports to the Senior Hardware Engineering Manager and is part of the R&D department, Hardware team located in Grens, Switzerland and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Mechanical sizing and design calculations, including chain of dimensions and tolerances
- CAD drawing
- Testing in a laboratory environment
Who you are:
- Completed a minimum of one year in Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of Science (BSc) cursus or equivalent
- Knowledge in CAD software suites (Solidworks or equivalent) and analytical design is a must
- Fluent in English is a must
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge in Gantt chart and planification tools is a plus
- French language is a plus
