About Us:
We are newly opened fine-dining Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Zurich, specializing in kappo-style cuisine inspired by the traditions of Kyoto and Osaka. We offer our guests a refined and intimate culinary experience that celebrates seasonality, craftsmanship, and the spirit of Japanese hospitality.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a dedicated and professional full-time service team member to join our opening team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious restaurant project and grow with us from the beginning. You will play a key role in shaping the guest experience and representing the values of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
– Welcome and care for guests with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
– Present and explain the menu, including food and beverage pairings
– Serve dishes and drinks with precision and elegance
– Ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and the front of house
– Maintain a clean, well-organized dining area at all times
– Assist in daily opening and closing duties
Qualifications:
– 3 to 5 years of experience in fine dining or hospitality
– Strong interest in Japanese cuisine, culture, and service style
– Excellent communication skills in English and German (Japanese is a plus)
– Well-groomed, punctual, and team-oriented
– Ability to handle pressure in a calm and respectful manner
– Valid Swiss work permit or EU citizenship
