Job Description
The FX & DA Trading Department oversees the execution and liquidity production process in FX, Precious Metals, Digital Assets, and Macro Futures.
The department is focusing on the design and operation of electronic trading systems with the core mission to provide an excellent execution service to clients, to profitably manage the market risk of the bank, and to ensure orderly operations and orderly functioning of markets.
With our technology and data-driven approach we add an alpha to our product quality and increase the profitability of our business with improvements from the supply side: not only by sourcing smarter but as well by producing liquidity.
The department consists of 3 teams with a functional focus: Spot, STIR, and Execution.
To strengthen our STIR team we are looking to hire an FX Swaps and FX Spot trader:
The STIR Team produces competitive FX swap liquidity and focuses on servicing select institutional clients. With its data & technology driven innovative spirit, the team is spearheading the growth in FX swaps & FX forwards trading meeting requirements of sophisticated interbank clients. Next to its collaboration with engineers and project managers, the team works closely with sales, treasury, and middle office to serve highly demanding institutional clients.
As a Trader your key responsibilities will be:
- FX Swap and FX Spot pricing to platforms (Bloomberg, FXALL, 360T, and others)
- Ensuring competitive pricing and efficient execution of client flow.
- Handling RFQ requests.
- Monitoring and profitable management of the FX Swap book.
- Ensuring efficient execution with Liquidity Providers.
- Ensuring orderly operations and supporting neighboring departments in the trade booking process.
- Providing technical and business support to sales managers to facilitate existing and new business.
- Liaising with Liquidity Providers and Prime Brokers to optimize liquidity sourcing for our operations.
As a Builder your will get the opportunity to collaborate with engineers and project managers to conceptualize & design trading systems such as
- Cash flow monitoring tools.
- Risk valuation and risk hedging tools.
- Risk and flow analytics tools
Qualifications
- University Degree in STEM or Economics.
- Result oriented, reliable and a team player.
- Good understanding of FX Market, its micro structure and its liquidity network.
- Previous experience in FX Swaps and FX Spot trading is a strong plus.
- Coding skills (Java/Python), data analysis (SQL,KDB)
- Understanding of trading systems architecture and API connectivity.
- Fluent in English.
