Job Title: Electrical Engineer Manager
Location: Baden, Switzerland
Purpose of Role:
As part of our growth strategy at Weir, as part of our growth strategy at Weir, we are looking for an Experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Baden and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems for comminution technologies, with a focus on Stirred Milling. This role will collaborate across global teams and with OEM partners to ensure delivery of high-performance, energy-efficient, and reliable solutions for both Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket projects. You will be involved in shaping the future of sustainable mining through innovation in electrical design and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design: Develop and document electrical designs for, including high-voltage motors, variable speed drives, transformers, instrumentation, and medium/low voltage systems.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with OEM partners and suppliers to define system requirements, review designs, and ensure seamless integration of electrical components into our solutions.
- Project Support: Contribute to OE and Aftermarket projects by providing electrical engineering expertise, ensuring compliance with technical standards and customer specifications.
- Cross-functional Integration: Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and project management to support effective product lifecycle development.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in electrical engineering, ideally in the mining, heavy machinery, or industrial sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage systems, control systems, drives, instrumentation, and electrical standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CE).
- Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office and electrical design tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.
