ABOUT THE ROLE
This role includes every aspect of clinical trials on medical devices across the entire study duration. The position is based in Basel, Switzerland, and reports to the Team Lead in Clinical Research Sponsored Studies, which is part of the diverse Global Clinical Research team.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
These are the main tasks to expect from this role:
- Manage a selected global portfolio of Company Sponsored Studies on medical devices according to ISO 14155 and regional requirements, from study protocol development to close-out and reporting
- Be the main contact for study sites and manage relationships with investigators and study teams
- Manage external service providers (Contract Research Organizations, Statisticians, etc.)
- Collaborate and align with internal stakeholders (Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- Education or University degree (BSc/ MSc/ PhD) in life science or dentistry.
- Track record of minimum 1-2 years in Clinical Research, preferably with Medical Devices (ISO 14155).
- Self-motivated person with an efficient, pragmatic and structured working style, high level of agility and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and integrated into a team, high degree of integrity and reliability.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactivity to cultivate professional relationships within an innovative matrix organization and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, additional languages are an asset.
- Willingness to travel (appr. 10-20%).
