The role supports the head of the business unit in strategic development, management, and operational risk oversight, while also driving business improvement initiatives, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the business unit.YOUR CHALLENGE
Business Management
Collaborate with the head of the business unit on the strategic development of the business area
Support in various strategic management related matters (e.g. cost and revenue management, optimization of processes)
Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis to facilitate decision-making and supervisory activities
Support senior management related organizational, communication and reporting topics
Supporting the head of the business unit on strategic decisions around HR topics
Management of Run and Change budget for the business unit
Support global bank initiatives with the focus to improve operational performance, product and service offering
Coordination of key initiatives with a special focus on leading or supporting concrete strategic projects
Responsible for cultural and people initiatives
Operational Risk
Responsible for the various elements of the risk management governance within the business unit
Conduct risk assessments and analyses. Preparation and coordination of risk related topics for management meetings
Support the business unit head in all risk related matters and with the implementation of the bank’s risk management framework
Ensure risk controls are properly maintained and executed by the respective responsible
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to risk management
YOUR PROFILE
Comfortable working in a high-paced environment, fully dedicated to top results
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high attention to details without losing focus on what really matters
Strong problem solving and excellent communication skills
Firm ability to work independently with minimal supervision and taking a hands-on approach
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline
5-7 years relevant work experience in a similar role or in business consulting, preferably in an international environment
Proficiency in English (oral and written) is a must, German would be a plus
