Analytical Chemistry Manager
The Analytical Chemistry Manager serves as the key technical expert for providing analytical solutions to support manufacturing and process improvement initiatives. This role oversees the development, transfer, maintenance, and implementation of analytical methods across FMC’s global manufacturing network, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient processes are maintained.
Responsibilities:
Lead analytical technology strategies by defining approaches for method transfer, development, and maintenance.
Lead the set-up of an analytical laboratory and the commissioning of analytical equipment.
Oversee lab qualifications and best practices such as standardizing procedures across laboratories.
Support expansion and improvement projects through expert analytical guidance.
Introduce new analytical technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Conduct technical reviews such as assessments of Quality Control lab capital projects.
Lead global analytical method development overseeing validation and managing the method database.
Ensure method implementation by aligning site analytical methods with methods in FMC’s tech transfer packages.
Participate in contamination prevention program ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Support 5-Batch sample collection and GLP studies, manage manufacturing specifications to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in analytical chemistry or organic chemistry ; Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in analytical chemistry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven expertise in method development and validation for crop protection product manufacturing.
Strong background in safety leadership, laboratory safety management as well effective training and development.
Proficiency in verbal and written English, with excellent communication skills.
