WHAT YOU WILL DO?
For our rapidly expanding office in Zurich, we are looking for an Accountant (60-80% PT) for our Corporate Clients team. The Accountant will report directly to the Managing Director and works closely with the Corporate Client team members locally to assist our clients with accounting and tax compliance matters. The Accountant is expected to continuously develop both personally as well as professionally and contribute to our office.
Main responsibilities are:
- Manage the financial administration for our corporate and private clients;
- Prepare annual, monthly, and quarterly reporting for our clients;
- Prepare and file tax declarations;
- Handle payroll preparation;
- Set-up and maintain financial administrations, databased and other reporting systems;
- Monitor client company transactions;Ensure close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, notaries, and other external parties to gather the required information for reporting purposes;
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?
The Accountant needs to manage ad-hoc activities in addition to regular tasks. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important and have a hands-on, flexible, and service minded work mentality. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess excellent communication skills, and not afraid of asking questions.
Other relevant qualifications for this profile:
- Minimum of a Bacherlor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or several years of relevant work experience in similar function(s);
- Fluency in English and German is required;
- Experience working with Infoniqa One 50 (previously Sage) and / or other accounting software is a plus;
- Must be eligible to work in Switzerland;
- In-depth understanding of the company’s operations and those of our clients;
- Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting and tax regulations;
- Good social and communication skills;
- Problem solving and decision-making aptitude,
- Self-motivated, hands on, and able to work both independently and as a part of an international and multicultural team.

Für unser schnell wachsendes Büro in Zürich, suchen wir ein Accountant m/f/g (60-80%), das Mitglied unseres Corporate Clients Teams sein wird. Als Accountant rapportierst du an den Managing Director, der im selben Büro tätig ist, und arbeitest zusammen mit den lokalen Corporate Clients Teams, um unsere Kunden in Buchhaltungs- und Steuerangelegenheiten zu unterstützen. Du entwickelst dich in dieser Rolle sowohl persönlich als auch beruflich kontinuierlich weiter und leistest so einen Beitrag zu unserem Team.
Die Hauptaufgaben umfassen:
- Buchhaltung der Finanzadministration für unsere Kunden, einschließlich: Firmenkunden und Private Kunden;
- Vorbereitung und Einreichung von Steuererklärungen;
- Abwicklung der Lohnabrechnung;
- Erstellung von Jahres-, Monats- und Quartalsberichten für unsere Kunden;
- Einrichten und Pflegen von Finanzadministrationen, Datenbanken und anderen Berichtssystemen;
- Überwachung der Transaktionen der Kundenunternehmen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Account Manager;
- Sicherstellen der engen Zusammenarbeit mit Wirtschaftsprüfern, Steuerberatern, Rechtsanwälten, Notaren und anderen externen Parteien, um die erforderlichen Informationen für Berichtszecke zu sammeln.
WIE PASST DU INS TEAM?
Als Accountant musst du neben deinen regulären Aufgaben auch Ad-hoc-Aktivitäten bewältigen. In dieser Position setzt du Prioritäten, weißt du was wichtig ist und bringst du eine praxisorientierte, flexible und serviceorientierte Arbeitsmentalität mit. Du bist proaktiv, weißt was du leisten kannst, verfügst über ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und scheust nicht Fragen zu stellen, wenn du etwas nicht weißt.
Weitere Qualifikationen:
- Ein abgeschlossenes Bachelor-Studium in Buchhaltung oder Finanzen;
- Oder langjährige Erfahrung in ähnlichen Funktionen;
- Fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse sind erforderlich, Kenntnisse in weiteren Sprachen wie Niederländisch sind von Vorteil;
- Erfahrung mit Infoniqa One 50 (ehemals Sage) und/oder anderer Buchhaltungssoftware ist ein Plus;
- Arbeitsberechtigung in der Schweiz erforderlich;
- Tiefes Verständnis über die Geschäftstätigkeit unseres Unternehmens und der unserer Kunden;
- Umfassende Kenntnisse der Schweizer Buchhaltungs- und Steuervorschriften;
- Gute soziale und kommunikative Fähigkeiten;
- Fähigkeit zur Problemlösung und Entscheidungsvermögen;
- Selbstmotiviert, praxisorientiert und in der Lage, sowohl eigenständig als auch als Teil eines internationalen und multikulturellen Teams zu arbeiten.
