We are searching for an Account Payable Specialist to strengthen our Swiss Admin team. You will work in an international and dynamic environment and will work closely with other functional areas and stakeholders within our Research Center.
The Account Payable Specialist reports directly to our COO and the role is based in Zurich.
Account Payable Specialist
Your mission
- Maintain the internal purchase order which includes tracking the purchase order delivery status, processing incoming purchase orders and accepting the process in our system
- Manage the supplier purchase order and payment management
- Continuous communication with our accounting and procurement team, follow up on the acceptance and payment process as well as the resolution of irregular payment issues
- Supplier registration for self-procurement request payment
- Assist and support with our procurement projects and supplier management support
- Continuous communication with our business departments to clarify the purchase requirements and fulfill their expectations as well as developing procurement regulations or work instructions
Your areas of expertise
- Bachelor's degree or above in the area of international trade/Supply Chain/Logistics/Finance/Economics or other related disciplines
- Relevant practical experience in the field of procurement as well as profound knowledge with procurement process, ideally two years
- You are a responsible person and can deal with financial tasks carefully
- Good MS-Office and organizational skills
- Service orientation and the ability to work independently as well as the willingness to take over responsibility
- Chinese is a must have and fluent in German. English is a plus
