Student Assistant in FIDO Clinical Trial 5 - 30 %
Start of employment as soon as possible, temporaryThe FIDO (Fatigue Investigation using Digital Outcomes) study explores how smartphones and wearables can be used to objectively measure fatigue and remotely monitor the health of patients with multiple sclerosis and long Covid. The study is funded by the Digital Society Initiative (DSI) at the University of Zurich and lead by Dr. Liliana Barrios.
The DSI is the University of Zurich's (UZH) competence center on digital transformation and aims to shape the digital transformation of society and science with interdisciplinary activities in research, education and outreach.
Your responsibilities
Assistant to investigators during FIDO study visits:
- Help organizing study materials during visits.
- Make sure visit are conducted according to protocol checklist.
Your profile
Education:
- First-year student of health-related subject (e.g medine, nursing, psychology, ...).
- English B2
- German B2
- Good clinical practice (GCP) certificate (optional, but preferred)
- Friendliness and good manners.
- Willingness to work with patients (empathetic).
- Attentiveness.
- Ability to come to the different study centers in Zurich approved for the FIDO study.
- Flexible work schedule.
