As a Site Manager for Straumann Group Campus in Arlesheim, your role will – in an initial phase until end of 2027 - be pivotal in the execution and coordination of our ongoing construction project Swiss Straumann Group Campus and ensuring the successful completion. You will oversee and direct all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements. You will also be responsible for the construction project’s document management, fostering a productive work environment and maintaining solid relationships with management, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. In addition, you will be responsible for the restatement of the current HQ buildings and successful handover to the landlords.
On the long run, the Site Head will assume responsibility for Facility and Project Management overseeing the daily operations of the Straumann Group Campus, ensuring a functioning and pleasant infrastructure for everyone on the campus. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a diverse team.
The Site Head will work closely with senior management to implement company policies.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead the project team for setting up the Straumann Group Campus
Project management, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors
Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing of current premises
Coordinate and lead teams to cover various areas of responsibility (facility and reception team)
Connect / cooperate with external stakeholders such as landlord, Uptown Management company, various suppliers (e.g. security, Campus facility, cleaning, etc.)
Connect / cooperate with various internal stakeholders such as HS, ESG, Regulatory, logistics, purchasing, etc.
Manage and lead changes to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation
Keep all people in the Straumann Group Campus safe
Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies
Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead to improvement
Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.
Organize and perform maintenance of the infrastructure
Manage and lead all site operations, ensure full service for people working and visiting the Straumann Group Campus
Establish / implement and verify policies, work instructions and manuals for work related to the various works and services to be performed.

Proven Project management experience and strong stakeholder management
Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent
Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
