Swisscom Broadcast, an international leader in the field of communication technology, is looking for a result-oriented and experienced Senior Java Developer. The role demands a deep interest in new technology, an individual with holistic thinking, and good team and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and demonstrate proficiency with our core command and control software - easypsim.

• Develop high performing, robust and sustainable software solutions using Java technologies

• Work proficiently with gRPC, EventBus, and the Linux Shell

• Contribute to the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes (Maven), testing, and operation

• Have hands-on experience with Docker, and be comfortable with the deployment on K8s

• Participate in Agile development projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Your skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a deep understanding of Java
• Experience in gRPC and EventBus
• Proficiency in using source control tools, specifically Git
• Strong Linux shell scripting skills
• Familiarity with Docker and its usage in deploying applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Experience with DAPR, nats.io, Kafka, MQTT, BACnet, and OPC UA highly desirable.
