Position Summary


The Sales Director Switzerland is responsible for leading the commercial operations of the market to deliver budgeted Net Sales, Gross Margin & Operating Profit. He / She implements and influences a category management approach to continuously improve market shares and positioning of the Energizer brands in the market. By doing that he/she ensures a proper distribution and visibility of the Energizer portfolio across all relevant customers and channels. The SD oversees a team and ensures continuous development as well as high engagement. He / She also represents the company with major customers, suppliers and external contacts. The SD CH has direct responsibility for the largest customer Migros. He/she is an important member of the DACHPO LT and contributes actively to the development of the DACHPO cluster strategy.



Responsibilities
  • Create a vision for the market and strategies to get there
  • P&L management incl. FC management
  • Successful execution of sales initiatives across customers and segments
  • Control of trade spend and cost of sales
  • Lead a commercial team & attract, develop, and retain talents.
  • Develop strong cross functional relationships with Trade Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Human Resources, Demand planning and Supply Chain
  • Top customer management from annual negotiation to execution of promotions

What we are looking for
  • BSc/BA in business administration, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Comprehensive FMCG experiences
  • Proper Swiss market and customer understanding is a plus.
  • Proven track record as Senior KAM or Sales Director or similar roles
  • Extensive negotiation skills with proven track record
  • Team management experiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong analytical experience / P&L management experience
  • Influential leadership and result-oriented personality, with attention to details
  • Fluent in English & German
