Job Description

At Santen, we are on an exciting growth journey across EMEA as we strive to strengthen our leadership in eye health. Headquartered in Japan with over 130 years of expertise dedicated to eye health, we are driven by a bold ambition: to help people live happier lives through better vision. As we enter this next chapter in the EMEA region, we are looking for someone ready to take on the challenge of telling our story and helping shape the future of eye health.

We seek a Communication Manager who thrives on creating powerful, human stories that connect people to purpose and business impact. In this role, you will drive integrated storytelling across both external and internal platforms, harnessing digital channels and social media to amplify our impact. You will bring Santen’s strategy and vision to life, engaging employees as our greatest ambassadors while also shaping how we show up in the world.

This role reports to the Associate Director of Communications, EMEA, and is based in Switzerland.

You will work as part of a small but ambitious team, where your ideas and creativity will be valued. You will play a key role in building strong foundations for our communications while influencing long-term strategy and driving engagement with our Medium-Term Management Plan (MTP2029). You will partner with leaders across EMEA, Japan, and globally, bringing fresh thinking, cultural sensitivity, and a can-do mindset to every challenge.

At Santen, you can show up as yourself and be embraced for the unique qualities you bring. We foster a culture of openness, inclusion, and collaboration, where your ideas are welcomed, and your contributions make a real difference. If you thrive in an agile team and are passionate about driving impact and helping people live happier lives through better vision, then we would love to hear from you.
