The Control Strategy Scientist (CSS) group provides analytical technical leadership and ownership of commercial End-to-End biologic analytical control systems. By providing enhanced product-specific analytical and stability expertise for launch products and post-marketing product regulatory submissions, the CSS group assures network-wide harmonization by proactive lifecycle management, drives analytical innovation including new technologies and provides QC-related solutions to further continuous improvement, standardization, automation, productivity and agility.
Specifically, this internship focuses on:
Collaborating with a global team of analytical scientists on protein degradation and temperature excursion characterization during the commercial lifecycle.
Automating assessments related to temperature excursions based on available data and product degradation modes.
Not involving laboratory work, although a strong protein science background from laboratory experience is considered a plus.
Developing insights by working with data and exploring details in-depth.
Contributing to innovative solutions in protein science and commercial lifecycle analysis.
You are currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in biology, biochemistry or related fields or have completed your studies (Bachelor or Master) within the last 12 months
Strong Ethics & Relationship Building – High ethical standards and ability to foster sustainable relationships with stakeholders.
Effective Communication & Collaboration – Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and English language skills in an international setting.
Adaptability & Organizational Awareness – Ability to work in a matrix environment with shared responsibilities; knowledge of drug development and project management is a plus.
Programming - Knowledge in programming languages such as Phyton or R is considered as a plus.
